For most people, they’re comfortable to wear and have a good range of sounds that will suit most people’s listening needs. The main downside is the fit, we’ve found that some people don’t get on with the secure fit of the Melomania 1.
While most don’t have any issues with the fit of the earbuds, some people will struggle to get them in comfortably. They also have a control scheme that makes it easy to accidentally hit the pause-play button while listening to music.

Apple’s AirPods have become a ubiquitous part of the daily commute. The discreet design allows you to wear them while exercising or just for listening to music. In addition to a less-than-stellar audio performance, they have somewhat limited on-ear controls.

Ever since the original AirPods were released in 2015, the company’s AirPods have become a ubiquitous part of the daily commute. During the day, they can be worn while walking the dog, during workouts, and while watching TV. They feature a wireless connection, making them perfect for connecting to your iPhone and most other Apple devices.
The discreet design allows you to wear them while exercising or just for listening to music during your downtime. They feature excellent audio quality and a comfortable fit, with a wide frequency range and good noise isolation. That said, while we love that Apple’s AirPods are ubiquitous, they still have some flaws.
In addition to a less-than-stellar audio performance, they have somewhat limited on-ear controls. The plastic ear tips will stay in your ears, but they don’t create an in-canal seal, like many other brands. This some audio issues compared with in-ear models that use silicone or foam ear tips that insert into your ear canal.
Compared with the best of the $100 to $200 true wireless models, it can feel like the AirPods are falling a little behind.
